Symptoms of a Poor or
Non-Existent Strategy

þ  Lack of direction at a leadership level
þ  Departments with conflicting goals and aims
þ  Chronic conflict among executives and leadership
þ  Chronic conflict among departments and staff
þ  Apathetic staff
þ  Poor organizational morale
þ  Complaints about lack of communication
þ  High turnover, especially among conscientious
        workers
þ  Constant fire-fighting throughout the organization

A strategy should be well thought out. It should consider company values, philosophy, vision, and goals.  It should contain an external assessment, an internal appraisal, an aligned marketing plan, and a sales plan that grows from that marketing plan.  It should have a mission with supporting critical goal categories, an aligned financial plan, and a working timeline going out six months to a year.  It absolutely should be developed to include supporting action plans from the different levels within the organization - because it's those action plans that will actively move the organization to it's goals.

If you would like to know how to have such a strategy in your organization, call Rodeo! at 1-877-284-0009, or email us at timconnor@rodeopg.com .  The plans we develop with our clients are working plans - they provide results.
